are two among the five generations of our family's Dominics- our
motto is, "We'll keep tryin' till we get it right." Like our
predecessors, we share more than a name. We share the type of
devotion that has caused me to have never missed even one of
junior's football games. Despite our male bond and our many
relatives who passed through Ellis Island, it is Aunt Angie we
best remember. At age 12, she came alone from Naples, Italy. From
a frightened young girl, she became the honorary matriarch of our
extended family, united by love. We cherish the Savo name that's
listed at Ellis Island's Wall of Honor and hold it as a sacred
reminder of where our family began its legacy in America.
