I am Nealon's grandmother from the other side of the family -- Jean C. Ryan of Slingerlands, NY. On our side, several of the women worked at Cluett Peabody. Nealon's great-great grandmother, Bessie Mahoney Chapman brought home scraps from shirts she sewed and made these two quilts which have been cherished parts of our family heritage ever since.
