Jennifer...A great Irish immigrant story (I still wish I was an Irishman !). And she ended up in Illinois ! Can any of us now imagine what it would take to do what your great-grandmother did, or why she needed to do it ? It's simply amazing the caliber of people that came to this country and exemplifies why we live in the greatest country in history. All of our ancestors came here, primarily, by choise and for much the same reasons. Can we live up to that heritage? I think we can, thank you Jennifer.
